The highlights of 2017 at The Jewel ShopAs 2017 draws nearer to the new year i thought it was fitting to revisit some of our highlights from the year.Wow and what a year. We found Shawn and Brian at Spiffy StoresWe found Shawn and Brian at Spiffy Stores and from there The Jewel Shop was launched into the gorgeous, updated, responsive and super functional store that we had always dreamt of.Leaving our old IT company was a big heart wrenching decision but now looking back with hindsight it was the single most important and best decision we ever made after launching out website back in 2005.The Jewel Shop now offers a wonderful shopping experience with all the functions you need for the best customer experience available online.We can certainly say that our new Spiffy store is awesome. Our very beautiful model BrittanyWe found and introduced our very beautiful model Brittany; Britty is beautiful inside and out.With the addition of model shots into our product descriptions this gave our customers the ability to see our lovely jewels being worn and almost in real time.The jewellery photography has been a huge success on social media and for our marketing.The launch of the Love Britty Jewellery Collection was a collaboration between model and jeweller making some exclusive, refreshing and exquisite new designs to suit all of those who love the ocean.With the love of the sea in mind our water baby/model Britty has been the inspiration while making these new designs. #thanksbrit Jewellery Co AustraliaWe launched and introduced a new branded store, fully stocked for our GenY customers at Jewellery Co AustraliaHaving an independent brand and offering on trend luxe jewellery at super affordable prices with the help from Spiffy Stores made a big impact successfully embedding Jewellery Co Australia into the fashion and jewellery industry. This collection was inspired by my beautiful niece Britty who is “Happiest by the Ocean”.The jewellery designs are a collaboration between Britty and I to capture the true beauty and wonder of the ocean.From the guiding light of the light house to the edge of the sand where the waves meet the shore, the beach and ocean pulls our souls towards them. Why, i am not so sure but there is an alluring calm that extends from the sea gently pulling away everything else in that moment, leaving a soft and gentle sea breeze that we breathe in leaving a magical sense of calm within.

Sleepers and Charms, a match made in heaven.We have all been wearing sleeper earrings for ever. Sleeper Earrings or Sleepers as we all like to call them must be one of everyones must have essential jewellery products.We all have a pair or two or three because they come in so many sizes they are an easy go to for everyday wear.We were and probably still are the original sleepers with charms store to go to.We first introduced our basic sleeper earring with gorgeous charms on them when we first went online way back in 2005. Since then many stores and jewellers have introduced and sometimes copied this little gem of ours, but that is perfectly okay with us because it is a great idea and let’s face it they look amazing on every age group.The design options for sleeper earrings with charms is endless.
